Steel doors are a cheaper alternative. They provide solid protection against burglary while maintaining the aesthetics. Although steel doors are mainly associated with minimalism, they are also available in models with a classic look. Steel doors come in many veneers similar to PVC windows, so you can easily match the color to the windows. Modern technology of steel doors allows to obtain really good heat transfer coefficients.
